Next Friday night, March 11th, Stella Im Hultberg (interviewed) will be showing alongside Scott Belacastro at the London Miles Gallery. For her first UK show, she’ll be bringing a collection of paintings entitled “Fragmented”, which looks to feature a return in a way to some of the floating heads she has painted in the past as well as an obsession with hair. LeBasse Projects has been busy setting up a new gallery space at Chung King Road of LA’s Chinatown district, and now everything is set to go as they’ll officially launch the secondary location at the end of the month. Outdoors: POW WOW ’11 – Walls & Luau

The POW WOW wasn’t only an indoor affair. Being in Hawaii, the gang took full advantage of all that the beautiful tropical atmosphere had to offer. An entire side of the building (across from Fresh Cafe) was secured for the artists who quickly put their street game facse on. Prime, Wu Yue, 123Klan, Will Barras, Meggs, and Ekundayo grabbed their spray cans to work under the Honolulu sky.
