This Friday (February 26th), Jacob Lewis Gallery will unveil a new body of work from Michael Bevilacqua. Entitled The Owls a Re Not What they. s EE m, this exhibition borrows its title from David Lynch’s iconic television serial drama Twin Peaks, drawing inspiration from its mysterious and enigmatic dissemination of symbols. We first got acquainted with Ben Eine in the 2005 holiday tradition known as Santa’s Ghetto. Since then Ben has traveled the globe putting his clever alphabetical color combinations up for the whole world to see (fans include Prime Minister Cameron who sent over a painting to the Obama’s, welcoming the first family into the White House).
