Streets: Peeta (Italy)

Recently in Agropoli, Italy, Peeta completed a mind bending new mural for the a.DNA project that is a prime example of his style. Spanning four walls at the Liceo Statale A.Gatto public school, the piece from the Venice-based artist features lettering from his graffiti background as well as an anamorphic technique that deceives the eye. Showing – Joys & Peeta – “My good old habits” @ Wunderkammern (Milan)

Currently at Wunderkammern in Milan, a joint show from Joys and Peeta is on view entitled My Good Old Habits. The new pieces are centered on the “vices and customs that we repeat in an automatic, predictable way, until they turn into tradition.” The two EAD crew members have contributed some individual works, Joys with his architectural forms that evolved from his research into lettering and Peeta with his signature three dimensional graffiti. Recap / Streets: No Limit Boras Festival

The Swedish city of Boras recently hosted a street art event between the 4th and 7th of September. Inviting some recognizable names from the street art world, the organizers of the No Limit Boras Festival were aiming to turn the city’s public space into an outdoor exhibition. La Tour 13 (Paris)

Over looking the Seine, La Tour Paris 13‎ is a project curated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh from Galerie Itinerrance. During a year, the entire building was painted by 100 international street and graffiti artists, each leaving their mark with murals and installations within the 36 apartments over 9 floors and cellars. Opening to the public for a month from October 1st, the building is due to be demolished in November, making it the largest temporary street art exhibition in France.
