Showing: Jeff Soto – “Potatostamp” @ Riverside Art Museum

Currently at the Riverside Art Museum, Jeff Soto (interviewed) has a show on view featuring his screen-printed gig posters and fine art prints from the last 15 years. Entitled Potatostamp, the retrospective look at this aspect of the locally-based artist’s career includes over 70 posters, as well as 40 original ink drawings. AM has just arrived at the historic Mission Inn in Riverside for the annual Baby Tattooville art retreat (see our 2009, 2010, and 2011 coverage). Baby Tattooville Day 1: Jeff Soto Studio Visit

After a quick round of mingling and refreshments, the participants of Baby Tattooville were invited to the heart of the Jeff Soto factory.  Once there, the attendees were treated to a “preview” of Jeff’s upcoming solo show “Turning in Circles” at the Riverside Art Museum in December (previously teased).
