Another weekend, another Streets: World Roundup here on AM. The highlighted mural this time comes from Tahrir Square in Egypt where Sheikh Khan painted one of the barriers that the Egyptian military erected to divide the streets that connect to government power centers. This wall, which was painted to look as if it was never there is one of many that the young artists in the area have painted over (story via Hyperallergic). Other street work that caught out eyes this week include Vhils (Luxembourg), […]
AM was pleased to see a visit this week from NY based artist Olek (featured), we don’t often get to see a crocheted cab on the streets of London! Great fun and very impressive. So, it was good news to hear that January next year Olek will be crocheting the entire gallery space of Tony’s Gallery and live there. Sounds like a show not to be missed. We have also seen work going up by Colombian artist Bastardilla over the last couple of weeks, painting […]

LUDO (featured) has also been getting up with his paste-ups whilst in London for his solo show Metamorphosis at High Roller Society (covered). In addition, Australian artist Ghostpatrol has been busy collaborating with Kid Acne, Ema and Dscreet on an amazing wall in Dalston; and he has also been working with Malarky (a […]

Either collaborating with Ronzo, Pop 187, Kata, Word to Mother and Vinnie Nylon, the streets seem to be taking on a bold and colourful make over with playful characters adorning the shutters and walls of Shoreditch. We also […]
