One of our favourite things we’ve seen on the streets over the last few months have been Kid Acne’s Art Fags. Streets: Banksy (Los Angeles) Part II

As we suspected, Banksy was not done with his initial “Crayon Shooter” stencil in West LA. Streets: Banksy (Los Angeles)

As our readers must know by now, Banksy’s film “Exit Through The Gift Shop” has been nominated for an Oscar.  Although it doesn’t appear that he will be allowed to personally accept the award if he wins, it looks like he made the trip out to Los Angeles just the same.  Take a look at this new piece that has popped up reportedly attributed to the elusive street artist.  Perhaps the start of his Oscar campaign with more to come? Streets: Armsrock (Vienna)

Continuing his exploration of projection art (see his show and participation in the Lightsound Project in Copenhagen), Armsrock (interviewed) recently visited Vienna and illuminated selected walls and monuments with some of his drawings. The Danish artist has been in the Austrian capital immersed in the quartier21 artist-in-residence program and appears to be keeping busy before heading back home for various other projects and shows scheduled for the rest of the year. POW WOW ‘ 11 / Streets: Angry Woebots & Ekundayo

It looks like the POW WOW preparations are already underway in Hawaii as late addition Ekundayo and Aaron Martin (Angry Woebots) get up on the walls of the FreshCafe / Loft in Space venue. The space will house all the live-painting, starting on the 16th, and main event on the 19th so hopefully we’ll be seeing more murals soon. More pics after the jump…

Streets: Phlegm (Rotherham)

UK street artist Phlegm recently painted this new piece, Whale of a Time, at the Riverside car park in Rotherham. Already damaged by the rain, the mural will be replaced in about a month and he also plans to paint a giant squid and another boat. More views after the jump…

Parisian street artist LUDO (interviewed) continues to defend his home turf with another piece in the City of Lights, this time in the middle of the main thoroughfare,  Champs-Elysees.
