As previously mentioned, Shepard Fairey (featured) is currently in his studio preparing for his upcoming exhibition The Insistent Image: Recurrent Motifs in the Art of Shepard Fairey and Jasper Johns opening at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art on May 22. Upcoming: Shepard Fairey @ Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art

Coming up in May, Shepard Fairey (featured) will be opening a show in Charleston, South Carolina where he grew up along with the work of Jasper Johns at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art. The exhibition will feature new work by Fairey and a survey of prints made between 1982 and 2012 by Johns, highlighting both their technique of recycling graphic elements in separate galleries.
