On April 25th, Jose Parla will be returning to Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery in New York for another solo show featuring a series of new paintings and reworked found objects. Entitled Anonymous Vernacular, the new body of work will include pieces that combine a collage of fragmented advertising posters he has collected with his signature calligraphic urban scrawl. Releases: KAWS – “BFF” Plush (Pink)

Even casual fans of KAWS knew a pink version of the BFF plush was coming at some point judging from its prominence int the Dior campaigns. Well, that time is almost upon us with the release set for tomorrow (4/10/19) at noon (EST) on the Brooklyn-based artist’s website – KAWSONE. Those who miss out can try their luck with the DDT store. Earlier this week, KAWS : ALONG THE WAY opened at the Hong Kong Contemporary Art (HOCA) Foundation, a survey looking back at one decade of the American artist’s work. Like his previous projects from the Holiday series in Korea (covered) & Taiwan (covered), the reveal of KAWS’ large scale intervention in Hong Kong (covered) will include some associated merchandise. Continuing a project that has toured Asia starting last year in Korea (covered) which moved on to Taiwan (covered) earlier this year, KAWS will unveiling another large scale inflatable version of his Companion figure in Hong Kong on March 22nd.
