UK based graffiti artist Petro has been contributing to the depletion of the ozone layer for 25 years or so, and his instantly recognisable style is now on view in Sheffield gallery Bradbury & Blanchard. It’s been over a year since we brought you photos from an Isaac Cordal exhibition (Barcelona). So, we are happy to share some shots of the Spanish street artist’s latest solo at the Temple of Gout in Nantes, France entitled The New Slavery. Upcoming: Push – “Adaptation” @ Known Gallery

On Friday night (July 19th, 8-11pm), Known Gallery will be opening a three day only show from PUSH entitled Adaptation. Returning to the site of his solo exhibition from 2012 (covered), PUSH has been on site creating works and murals featuring his colors and patterns, drawn inside from the streets. To round up our coverage of the Public Art event over in Horsens, Denmark (co-curated by our contributing photographer Henrik Haven), we bring you photos of the work of Pøbel. If you remember, he himself also organized a street art festival (Komafest) last year in Norway. For his part (also see what Brad Downey, Sam3, and Escif did), Pøbel painted a couple murals as well as played with the idea of “mute” pieces which made a lot of noise but in photos disseminated online would make no noise. Herbert Baglione – “1000 Shadows” Project (Italy)

It looks like Herbert Baglione has been having some fun in Parma, Italy recently. Hanging out in an abandoned psychiatric hospital, the renowned Brazilian street artist took advantage of the location to continue his 1000 Shadows project, a series of works where he paints floating silhouettes on floors and walls. After his big exhibition in New York (covered), all has been quiet from SABER (interviewed) as of late – until several days ago. He shared some work that we have never seen exploring some new mediums for his American flag remixes like wood (Desert Flags) and encaustic. Openings: Momo in Grottaglie, Italy

Last weekeend in Grottaglie, Italy in the ceramic district, the geometrically inclined Momo opened up a solo show. Put on by the people behind the annual Fame Festival, the exhibition featured pieces that were very similar to the abstract murals that the street muralist has been known for. His use of color and the balanced composition bely a fine hand behind each work. Barry McGee x Jim Goldberg for VICE

In this year’s VICE photo issue (recently released), an interesting collaboration between Barry McGee and photographer Jim Goldberg was featured. The series of works entitled Interfearance features some of McGee’s patterned motifs that he is famous for, juxtaposed with Goldberg’s shots. Streets: Vhils (Philadelphia)

After updating you on Vhils’ activities in Hong Kong last month, we now have news for fans in the States as he recently completed a project in Philadelphia. Set between 13th and Juniper Street, the mural started with historic photographs of the city (from the Temple University Urban Archives) wheatpasted to the wall and then covered with a layer of white paper. Kenny Scharf Car “Tags”

It looks like Kenny Scharf (interviewed), who recently showed in New York (covered), has been painting on fans’ cars recently. What started off several weeks ago in the Big Apple has progressed to the West Coast where he has been filling requests in Los Angeles.
