Openings: Elbow-Toe – “Due Date” @ Warrington Museum

Last December, Brooklyn-based Elbow-Toe (interviewed) took his wonderful “cut paper paintings” to the Warrington Museum in the UK. It seems that Nick Walker (interviewed) has an affinity for New York. Video: Conor Harrington – ‘Crossing Lines’

It’s always a pleasure to see some of Conor Harrington’s (interviewed) outdoor work, and this beautifully produced short film that he recently put together was a real treat to watch. Crossing Lines documents his trip to Palestine and Israel last June, where he collaborated with Know Hope on a series of murals, as well as completed some solo efforts. Check it out. Openings: Insa – “More” @ Fifty24SF

Fifty24SF opened its doors to London-based artist Insa’s exhibition last Thursday night in San Francisco. During the week leading up to this event, Insa was busy painting up the town as well as filling up the gallery with paint fumes during the creation of his amazing stop motion video installation. The show included spray paint works on plexiglass (some of which incorporated moving parts and LEDs), prints featuring his signature motif, a sculpture, as well as photography featuring his work with beautiful women. Openings: Richard Duardo – “Ink On Paper” @ Mallick Williams & CO

Last Friday, Mallick Williams & CO opened their latest exhibition “Ink On Paper”. The collection of prints was from renowned Los Angeles-based master printer Richard Duardo. Pieces on display were classic examples from artists who have chosen in the past to collaborate with the Modern Multiples founder. Attendees enjoyed silkscreen gems from Dennis Hopper, Shepard Fairey, Retna, SABER and others. The show will run until Feb. 25th, so make it out if you can. Check out more after the jump.

Video: Everfresh Gallery at the National Gallery of Victoria

Everfresh Gallery recently teamed up with the esteemed National Gallery of Victoria for their NGVSTUDIO program. Get a look at Meggs (who we last saw in Hong Kong at Above Second) and crew creating a nice mural for the progressive space. Studio Visit: Crash

In anticipation for his current show at one of our favorite hangouts bOb lounge & gallery, AM paid a visit to the studio of old school graffiti writer and pop artist Crash (John Matos). His Lichtenstein inspired style mixed with his 80’s graffiti know-how creates a unique approach for this urban veteran.
