After a look at some of the artists at work on their pieces for the Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans project sponsored by the PangeaSeed Foundation, here is a look at some select walls they painted. The muralists were invited in by the non-profit in Napier, New Zealand to create works to raise awareness for ocean environmental issues. A couple of weeks ago Pangeaseed.org wrapped up another praiseworthy project on the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico – Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans – Mexico Expedition. For this event that took place from July 20-28, they invited a group of international artists to help raise awareness for the conservation of the ocean. Similar to what they did with POW! WOW! La Tour 13 (Paris)

Over looking the Seine, La Tour Paris 13‎ is a project curated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh from Galerie Itinerrance. During a year, the entire building was painted by 100 international street and graffiti artists, each leaving their mark with murals and installations within the 36 apartments over 9 floors and cellars. Opening to the public for a month from October 1st, the building is due to be demolished in November, making it the largest temporary street art exhibition in France.
