Streets: Life Is Beautiful 2019 (Las Vegas)

This year’s Life Is Beautiful arts and music festival (also see 2016, 2015, and 2014) once again collaborated with JUSTKIDS / Charlotte Dutoit on bringing more public art to downtown Las Vegas. Streets: World Roundup (Jul 21 – Aug 3)

Leading things off on this edition of our Streets: World Roundup is this new mural from Vhils (via Hookedblog) for the Phytology Project. The wall is situated on a side street just off Bethnal Green Road (the station end) in the Bethnal Green Nature Reserve and is part of a series of year-long artist commissions taking place in the reserve. Openings: Zosen – “System Collapse” @ StolenSpace

StolenSpace’s latest exhibition opened last week and featured a solo exhibition by Zosen. “System Collapse” is the Barcelona based Argentinian artist’s first solo exhibit in the UK for which he presented a series of colorful character based canvases alongside some text based work, a video installation and some hand knitted pieces including a couple of these fun looking day-glo balaclavas.
