Early this morning, AM got the following somewhat cryptic email from Steve “ESPO” Powers:

I’m here to take you to church. Our service starts on Saturday April 25th at 8. no need to byob, our pour box is stocked with unholy water. The Church of The Open Tab is at 4568 Manchester Avenue (aka White Flag Projects) in the home of the Clydesdales, St. Louis. To open a tab or consume more, just reply. CHEERS.

Looks like Mr. Powers’ new show entitled “2 Fists of Iron and a Bottle of Beer” is opening this Saturday at the gateway city’s White Flag Projects. He will be transforming the gallery space into a combination drive-thru wedding chapel and custom-car graphics shop, in which “cut vinyl slogans and naratives” will be applied to volunteers’ cars.  We’re wondering whether Steve will be performing weddings as well.

Discuss Steve “ESPO” Powers here.
