An intriguing new show is set to open on December 12th at the Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City featuring “Multi-Plane” art. An impressive list of artists including Glenn Barr, Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Luke Chueh, D*Face, Natalia Fabia, Chloe Early, Sylvia Ji, Stella Im Hultberg, Dave Kinsey, KMNDZ, Todd Schorr, Travis Louie, Lola, Nathan Ota, Greg Simkins, Jeff Soto, Amy Sol, Tin, Nathan Spoor, Krista Huot, Chet Zar, David Stoupakis, Sage Vaughn and many more were given a kit of different transparent panes to work on that are overlaid on top of each other to give the final painting more depth and richness (ala Disney). Kudos to the gallery for thinking of this interesting concept that will allow artists to push the boundaries of their creative process and we will be looking forward to seeing the all final pieces in person.
