Studio Visits / Preview: Greg Simkins – “Inside the Outside” @ Joshua Liner Gallery

Greg “Craola” Simkins (featured) is set to open his show on June 5th at the Joshua Liner gallery, so AM took the opportunity to hang with the ever creative mastermind at his Torrance studio. The show “Inside the Outside” (teased) is just that – flipping our world as we know it upside down with a mind-spinning array of painted characters and stories that would impress any hardcore sci-fi or fantasy fan. In addition to Greg’s coveted paintings, he took the time to revisit his roots in creating some good old fashion drawings on paper. These impressive pieces were sheer graphite magic.
