Earlier this year, AM brought you coverage of Corey Helford Gallery’s “Art From The New World” summer exhibition at Bristol’s City Museum and Art Gallery in the UK. It was an exciting exhibition and a rare chance for UK art lovers to meet the group of artists in one place on our side of the pond. Since the doors opened, over 60,000 visitors attended the exhibit to get a taste of the art. Now it’s time for LA to have the favor returned. A selection of the works are to be shown back at Corey Helford Gallery HQ as some pieces return back to the States from CHG’s UK outpost.
Alongside the selection of pieces from Joe Sorren, Ray Caesar, Colin Christian, AJ Fosik, Michael Page, David Hochbaum, Dave Cooper, Coop, Gretchen Ryan, KMNDZ, Kathy Schorr and Henry Lewis are the last remaining editions of the 12 limited edition prints originally only available at the Museum in the UK.
AM has 3 sets of ALL 12 (WOW!) prints by Luke Cheuh, Sylvia Ji, Eric Joyner, Sas Christian, Shag (Josh Agle), Michael Mararian, Natalia Fabia, Joshua Petker, Gary Baseman, Buff Monster, Ron English and Kent Williams to giveaway. Read on for details of these great prizes after the jump.
The mini exhibition opens on Saturday October 9th and runs for just a week. If you can’t get there in person, and want a shot at one of our three full sets of the prints, then leave either a comment here, on AM’s Facebook page, or on the show thread on the Artchival Forum telling us which your favorite painting is from the original show. We’ll pick a winner at random from each format – and you can enter up to 3 times: one per format – after the giveaway closes at 11pm Sunday 17th October UK time.
Each of the 18″x24″ giclee prints are signed and numbered out of an edition of 100. They cost $175 each and can be purchased individually or as a set. On Saturday, the gallery will have special opening hours – 12pm-8pm to accommodate the release. Our thanks go to CHG for generously donating these print editions to AM for our readers.
