For those that live in Southern California and have not had the chance to visit The Hole before they shuttered their Greene Street, NYC location, fear not.  Kathy Grayson is taking The Hole to you.  On April 14, FACEMAKER – a group show curated by Grayson is opening at Culver City’s Royal/T.

The beautiful 10,000 sq.ft. space will play host to art work by a diverse group of artists, including Ben Jones, Barry McGee, Kenny Scharf, Olaf Breuning, KAWS, Shepard Fairey, Robert Lazzarini, Aurel Schmidt, SWOON, Jules de Balincourt, Nate Lowman, Todd James, and FriendsWithYou. As the title of the show suggests, the artists will re-imagine and redefine the image of the human face.  The timing of the exhibition coincides with MOCA’s Art in the Streets, which is being organized by Jeffrey Deitch, who you may remember, is Grayson’s former boss.
