Almost a year and a half out from his last showing at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery, LA-based artist Alex Gross (interviewed) will return with a new body of work entitled Product Placement in February. Fusing his special blend of Victorian and Asian references, this collection of paintings for New York will feature commentary on consumer culture. This show will feature 19 new works on canvas, paper and panel, as well as over 20 mixed media pieces involving vintage photographs called cabinet cards.
