Openings: F*CK Art @ Museum of Sex

AM recently attended the wild premiere of F*CK Art, at New York’s Museum of Sex. As the bold title indicates, the group exhibition curated with the help of Mighty Tanaka aimed to pique the interest in both sex and art by pushing and melding the boundaries with the movement from the streets. From paintings to sculptures to interactive installations, the show had the audience constantly buzzing as artists took their works a little further towards the edge. We caught Rostarr’s nation of millions canvas and Aiko’s sexy collages & paint can installations. Mode2 and Miss Van fit in perfectly with their sensual pieces, while Lush caught everyone’s attention with a live “popsicle” stand installation to go along with an “oral” mural.
