Coming up next week at a secret location presumably somewhere near Melbourne, Lush will be presenting a new show in a unique format entitled Bring Cash. Je Suis Paris

In the aftermath of the horrible attacks that happened on Friday 13th in Paris, the art community once again responded with what it does best – transferring the emotions and messages in an original visual form. Whether they are French or not, they all have some sort of special connection with the “capital of the arts.“ From Danish master of paper drawings and folds, Huskmitnavn (top photo), Paris-based Seth Globepainter who painted one of his kid characters writing Parisian motto “Fluctuat nec mergitur (Tossed but not sunk)”, to legendary mastermind behind the Obey […]

Rewind: Jul 21 – Aug 3

Check out the overview video below and head over here for more in depth looks at each artist. Preview of Kehinde Wiley / Haiti show at Roberts & Tilton. Bombing […]

Art Related Video On Instagram posts

Instagram recently introduced their video feature, not many people were getting too excited over it. But, one month after the update, much more people are appreciating and using it. Artists, galleries, art collectors and enthusiasts are only some of them. While the old photo feature was very helpful when it comes to sharing new works, projects, plans, sketches, the video feature gives IG users a chance to explore things deeper, show more details, show the creative process, literally show wider picture of things, and even […]

The show includes installations, sculptures, paintings, sketches, prints, t-shirts and zines. If you enjoy Lush’s deliberately offensive, illustration-style work, it promises to be a fun spectacle: sexually explicit imagery of large-scale vaginas, fornicating unicorns, rainbow-coloured guts, urine and ejaculate, scenes of gratuitous violence, and various pieces based on the theme of ACAB / All Cops Are Bastards. Knowingly biting the hand that feeds […]
