AM is excited to announce the first details of the 2015 NuArt Festival, one of the world’s leading celebration of street art. The festival will take place the first weekend of September (9.5 – 9.6) in Stavanger, Norway, which is located on the country’s west coast; the exhibition associated with the festival will run the following week (9.6 – 9.11).

This year is NuArts’ 15th anniversary, and in celebration of this important milestone, the organizers have put together an amazing program of public murals, installations and interventions throughout the city by an impressive international selection of artists, including Bordalo II (PT), Bortusk Leer (UK), Dolk (NO), Dotdotdot (NO), Ella & Pitr (FR), Ernest Zacharevic (LT), Futura (US), Harmen de Hoop (NL), Icy & Sot (IL), Isaac Cordal (ES), Jamie Reid (UK), Martha Cooper (US), Martin Whatson (NO), Outings Project (FR), Pejac (ES) and Pixelpancho (IT). In addition, NuArt Plus (9.3 – 9.5) will consist of a symposium of academic and industry debates, artist presentations and film screenings that aims to encourage critical discourse around street art in an accessible and democratic way.

Keep your eyes peeled to Arrested Motion in August for more information about the 2015 NuArt Festival. And during the festival, we will be on site for daily in-depth coverage of all of the walls, shows, panel discussions and more.
