Previews: “Asymmetrical Diptych” @ Corey Helford Gallery

This Saturday (January 16th), the Corey Helford Gallery will be opening the Asymmetrical Diptych group show. The title says it all – 26 artists will be creating two piece works meant to be displayed together but in an asymmetrical arrangement or shape. Openings: Pose & “Hello Kitty, Hello Art” @ Known Gallery

On Saturday night, the Known Gallery in Los Angeles hosted a private release party for Hello Kitty, Hello Art!, a book compiling artwork inspired by Sanrio characters. In association with this event, a group show featuring works from 64 Colors, AIKO, Caia Koopman, DABS MYLA, Kenton Parker, Niagara, Shepard Fairey, Simone Legno, RISK, Adam Wallacavage was on display as each artist chose different characters to render in their own typical fashion.
