Other worthy walls include work from: Dabs Myla (Australia), Aiko (Vietnam), JR (USA), Dragon76 (USA), Eduardo Kobra […]

Continuing their design work, Dabs Myla recently collaborated with Vans on a footwear and apparel collection for women featuring the duo’s imagery. Included in the set are the classic Sk8-Hi Sli, Authentic and Classic Slip-Ons shoes as well as a T-shirt, hoodie, tee dress, backpack, trucker hat, and canoodle socks. Influenced by their work on the streets, mid century aesthetic, and theatrical cartoons from the Golden Age of Animation, it looks like the Aussie husband and wife team have chosen some distinctive graphics to accent the selected items. We recently got an update from solidARTy.org that they are started another round of charity art auctions on their website. The project launched back in November by auctioning artworks donated by artists, galleries and studios, with 100% of the proceeds going to AreYouSyrious.org organization. So far they have raised over €20,000 for the cause and are now continuing their efforts by offering more original and rare, editioned work by world renowned street, urban and contemporary artists. Along with some of the pieces that didn’t sell previously, the […]
A couple weeks ago, Dabs Myla opened up an ambitious new exhibition at the Modernica factory property in Los Angeles entitled Before and Further. The title is appropriate as the artistic duo took things to the next level with an immersive installation featuring paintings, sculptures, ceramics, lighting, customized furniture, as well as murals covering the entire facade of the building. Take a look at some photos and make plans to visit before it closes on November 15th. Photo credit: Birdman Photos. Discuss Dabs Myla here.
