On September 6th, Feinkunst Krüger will be opening an exhibition from Heiko Müller, his first solo with the Hamburg gallery since he started showing with them in 2003. Glades will feature the German artist’s nature-infused paintings, a byproduct his inspiration for art always originating from his times spent in the mountains and forests. Here’s a show that a few people are looking forward to. Unnatural Histories II is the follow up to last year’s group exhibition at Portland’s Antler Gallery. Curated by Coates and Scarry, the exhibition entitled Unnatural-Natural History recently launched at the Royal West of England Academy with many of the participating artists present at the opening. On May 16th in San Francisco, the Jack Fischer Gallery will be hosting the opening reception for German painter Heiko Müller where he will be presenting a new collection of work. Hunting Night and Day will be his second exhibition at the gallery and encompasses a selection of new paintings that feature Müller’s continued exploration of the darker side of nature and the hidden machinations of the animal kingdom, all rendered with a surreal touch.
