On September 6th, Feinkunst Krüger will be opening an exhibition from Heiko Müller, his first solo with the Hamburg gallery since he started showing with them in 2003. Glades will feature the German artist’s nature-infused paintings, a byproduct his inspiration for art always originating from his times spent in the mountains and forests. Unnatural Histories II is the follow up to last year’s group exhibition at Portland’s Antler Gallery. Opening on 26th September, the exhibition calls for each participating artist to create a natural history inspired portrait of a mythical creature. Openings: “Unnatural – Natural History” @ Royal West of England Academy

Curated by Coates and Scarry, the  exhibition entitled Unnatural-Natural History recently launched at the Royal West of England Academy with many of the participating artists present at the opening. Featuring paintings, photography, drawings, sculptures and installations, 38 local and international artists are currently displaying their artistic interpretation of an alternative world. Preview: Heiko Müller – “Hunting Night and Day” @ Jack Fischer Gallery

On May 16th in San Francisco, the Jack Fischer Gallery will be hosting the opening reception for German painter Heiko Müller where he will be presenting a new collection of work. Hunting Night and Day will be his second exhibition at the gallery and encompasses a selection of new paintings that feature Müller’s continued exploration of the darker side of nature and the hidden machinations of the animal kingdom, all rendered with a surreal touch. Openings: Lola’s Natural Beauties and Superschool @ Copro Gallery

“Natural Beauties” and “Superschool” (previewed) opened at Copro Gallery this past Saturday, March 7th. Upon entering Copro Gallery, you will see Lola’s solo show “Natural Beauties” on display in the room directly ahead.
