Openings: “Water Works” @ GR2

On Saturday, our friends at Giant Robot held a unique group show at their GR2 space. Originally, the event was conceived to raise funds for UNICEF’s Tap Project, which is an effort to get clean and accessible water to millions of children around the world. Charity / Releases: Shepard Fairey – “Dark Wave / Rising Sun” Print

Set to release online at a random time tomorrow, March 24th, is Shepard Fairey’s (featured) new print, Dark Wave / Rising Sun. Although the image may be a little foreboding for some collectors’ taste, the proceeds do go to a good cause – the relief efforts in Japan.  The run will be 700, size 18″ x 24″, and priced at $60. Charity / Releases: Josh Keyes “Evacuation” Print

With his next exhibition, The Magician’s Garden (teased), right around the corner, Josh Keyes (interviewed) has taken some time out to once again teamed up with Tiny Showcase for their fifth collaborative effort to raise funds in the name of charity.
