Releases: Yoskay Yamamoto – “Sunny Flower” Series

Several days ago, Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed) released more iterations of his “Sunny Flower” series. The potted blooms are customized with the Los Angeles-based artist’s signature facial features and take inspiration from his job during college was delivering bouquets in Santa Barbara. From the 6th of February until the 12th of June 2016, Yorkshire Sculpture Park will be hosting the first UK museum exhibition by KAWS. The show will include new large, bright, graphic canvases at their expansive Longside Gallery and a series of monumental companion sculptures which will be exhibited around the historically designed landscape of YSP. The NYC-based artist recently visited a factory in Maastricht, The Netherlands, where his towering wooden sculptures are being produced.
