For their annual TIME 100 issue, the news magazine decided to pivot their focus to COVID-19 by asking their TIME  100 alumns to share any for insights on some of the challenges of what we are all facing in navigating the new realities of the pandemic. Publications: Michael Murphy For Time Magazine Person of the Year Edition

Congratulations to Michael Murphy on this recently completed commission for Time Magazine. The full panoramic view (captured in the animated GIF above) of the sculptural portrait of Barack Obama is featured on the iPad edition of Time’s Person Of The Year edition. Mike’s 66 piece reverse stencil sculpture is reminiscent of the public commission memorial sculpture he created of Stephanie Tubbs Jones in Cleveland a couple of years ago. Banksy Included in 2010 TIME 100

Two names familiar to AM readers, and no doubt to mainstream popular culture aficionados today, is Shepard Fairey and Banksy.  Today, we learned that Banksy was included in TIME Magazine’s TIME100 list, featuring 100 of the most influential people “who most affect our world”.  And the one who wrote the description to his entry?  Shepard Fairey, who took time off of his East Coast muraling, speaking, and preparation for his upcoming exhibition opening to pen something for his mischievous friend.
