Good idea and great execution. That’s the impression we walked away with at Mark Brown’s debut solo show at Gallery 1988 (LA). The beautiful paintings in “The Lost MacGuffin” are actually linked in a cohesive and fluid storyline. Starting off from one end of the gallery to the other, the audience will see the story unfolding in each painting. The premise revolves around MacGuffin’s encyclopedia and the drama that unfolds while the characters pursue the mythical book. The art work is top notch and the details are incredibly well thought out. If you’re in the LA area, be sure to stop by 1988 and check out the show in person.
Be on the lookout for the interview we did with Mark coming soon.
