One of the highlights of our trip to Miami was definitely seeing this new Mark Ryden piece revealed at the Paul Kasmin Gallery booth at Art Basel. The breathtaking 72″ x 48″ piece “Incarnation” seems to be a happy medium between his new minimalistic style seen at his last solo at Tomio Koyama in Japan and his older imagery. Sold for almost 900K, it appears the market for one of the top artists in the so-called “low brow” movement is still strong.
