Last month, we gave you a little teaser of Tomokazu “Matsu” Matsuyama’s (interviewed) west coast solo at Frey Norris. Now, we bring you an exclusive studio visit & sneak peek into some of the mind boggling pieces that will grace the gallery walls come this Thursday, February 4th (6pm-8pm). As you can clearly see from the latest incarnation of his iconic “Runnin’ Deep” imagery, he’s going for the gusto. With bolder colors and even bolder compositions, this is one of the shows that we’re looking forward to this month.
