Openings: “Sea No Evil” – 2010 Sea Shepherd Charity Show

Last night, AM attended the crowded opening of the Sea No Evil art show and charity auction. The group show hosted great works from many notables such as Shepard Fairey, Clayton Brothers, Dave Kinsey, Gary Baseman, Mark Dean Veca, Audrey Kawasaki, Amy Sol, Joe Ledbetter, Lola, Travis Louie and Kozyndan.

As expected, the event was packed with fans of both the art and the ocean. Throughout the night, DJ Diabetic and Crystal Method pumped great music to keep the crowd jumping. Eager patrons hovered over the art work to secure their silent auction bids, and by 10:30 pm, many pieces went into a live bid “overtime.” In the end it was a win-win for all in attendance as to proceeds went to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and to keep the oceans safer.
