Openings: “Atrophic Existence” @ Show & Tell

A couple Saturdays ago, Show & Tell Gallery played host to a cohesive group show from Kevin Cyr (interviewed), Mike Shankman, Jeff Gillette, Joshua Barndt, and Alex Lukas entitled Atrophic Existence. Along with some pretty nice pieces from a group of painters whose work focuses on urban decay and disintegration, Gillette also brought some beautiful sculptural renderings of his shantytown structures and you could not miss the massive central installation from Barndt entitled The World is a Mountain and Everything Gets Buried.
