Fans of Todd James weathered the snow to show their support at the opening of his solo exhibition Infinite Lessons at A.L.I.C.E. Gallery in Brussels. Presenting his crude sense of humor in trademark fashion, James explores controversial topics of sex and war as only he can. The gravity of these issues is offset with the tongue in cheek levity of his illustrative style and comedic compositions, perfectly juxtaposing the heavy with the light. The opening also served as a first crack at his debut sculptural work, a limited-edition resin figure entitled Dumparoo. It also sounds as if a new print, Fresh Milk, will be released online, so keep your eyes peeled to his webstore for further details.
