Dface

Here’s something that grabbed our attention, and is certainly worthy of yours. Our friends Richard Scarry & Chippy Coates are organising a charity art auction entitled Mad Hatters Ball at the venue for the Banksy exhibition and Art from the New World, the Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery. Art Action for Kids aims to raise funds for local kids through a series of arts programmes at the soon to open M Shed.

Check out a preview of some of the works on offer from artists such as D*Face, Chloe Early, Conor Harrington, plus a host of others; and read on for full details of the programme after the jump.

Dear Art Lovers

I would love it if you could come and support this wonderful cause of mine – Art Action for Kids is raising money to provide art programmes for some of the most vulnerable young people in the Bristol community. Not only have some fabulous internationally acclaimed artists donated beautiful artwork for the silent and live auction, but if the art is not for you, why not bid on a spectacular cruise, donated by MSC cruises?

Closing date for tickets is March 11th and is fast approaching so please go to the link http://www.madhattersball.co.uk to buy your tickets today, and to find out more information about this fabulous and fun evening. It would be great to see as many of you as I can. Please note that if you buy tickets but want to sit with particular people then you can send an email to [email protected] and we will do our very best to accommodate all requests.

For those of you who can’t make the ball itself, please consider making a donation, however small, to Art Action for Kids through the link at Just Giving http://www.justgiving.com/madhattersball

This project is very close to my heart and I really do believe it is going to be a fabulous evening with some truly stunning artwork for sale, some great entertainment and of course, very enjoyable company.

I thank you all in advance for any and all the support you can give to Art Action for Kids. I know you are constantly being asked to support worthy causes – this time it happens to be ours.

Best,

Richard and Chippy
