As with his last release through POW, Banksy will once again generously use his clout by donating the proceeds from the sale of a new poster to a good cause. Instead of going towards the bail set on imprisoned members of Russian subversive street art collective Voina, the money will go to the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft, in an effort to help in the wake of the Bristol Tesco riots over the weekend. The poster will be made exclusively available during Bristol’s Anarchist Bookfair this coming Saturday, May 7th. A nice enough affordable release (£5 each) from the Bristol native with content that harkens back to a more classic time period, although presumably based on a painting instead of stencil work, from the famed street artist.
