Starting tomorrow, attendees of this year’s ArtPadSF in San Francisco will be able to peruse the wares of participating galleries, curators, and exhibitors. Those heading over to the iconic Phoenix Hotel (site of Mars-1 public mural) for the event should make sure to stop by the booth of our friends at Spoke Art as they will be displaying new works from Scott Scheidly entitled Portraits : a series of “fabulous” depictions of tyrants, dictators and popes. This title is should be pretty self-explanatory and you should expect a series of provocative and unusual portraits that many find hilarious.
Additionally, first in a series of print editions of Scheidlyʼs work at the fair, starting with a fine art edition of the artistʼs previous Hitler painting will be available. This limited edition Hitler print measures 11” x 14”, comes in a custom painted hot pink frame, and is limited to a signed and numbered edition of 20. Paintings and prints will be available first to attendees of the fair, with any unsold pieces available online via the Spoke Art website afterwards.
Those in town should also check out the other fair – artMRKT.
