Art fans in Los Angeles tonight (7-10pm) may want to check out the opening of A&C Shop at the HVW8 Gallery. The conceptual project space is a presentation of Art & Council’s varied creative interests featuring a collection of artwork, prints, objects, books, merchandise, and more from artists you have seen here on AM including Cleon Peterson, Jason Jaworski, Jay Howell, Kelsey Brookes, Tim Biskup, Tofer Chin, among others.
Of note, Craig Costello a.k.a “Krink” has created a site specific mural (seen in progress above) on the front of the showspace. Also, he has collaborated with Modernica to release an edition of 5 custom painted fiberglass shell chairs.
