Londoners have already seen evidence of Shepard Fairey’s (featured) presence on the streets, but tonight (October 19th), the StolenSpace Gallery will be putting a new body of work from the prominent American street artist on display entitled Sound and Vision. Shep’s first exhibition in London Town in five years will see him create art with one of his greatest inspirations in mind – music. Friend and collaborator Z-Trip will be on hand to supply the soundtrack to the artwork that will include mixed media works on canvas, screen prints (wood, metal, and paper), rubylith cuts, and retired stencils as well as an installation of a record store environment, with customized vintage turntables and a portion of his own record collection for public listening.
