San Francisco’s Guerrero Gallery recently hosted a fresh new exhibition from Remio. Entitled Man In Transition, this new body of work (previewed) was a reminder of how fun art can be both indoors and out. Utilizing surfboards, hand cranked zines, installations and a variety of graff techniques, Remio showed his talents and was not shy about taking chances. From precise pen and ink drawings to loose and abstract faces that convey the emotion and mood at the moment of creation, Remio took on the task of filling the main space of Guerrero with /his signature flare that we’ve seen outdoors as a member of both Barry McGee’s DFW/THR and Os Gemeos’ VLOK crew. This exhibition is up until March 2nd, so stop by if you’re in the Bay area.
