Presented by the Martha Otero Gallery and opening on March 20 at 6pm is Time of Nothing, a solo exhibition by artist Jim Mangan. Organized by gallery director Julie Machado, the show presents a photographic series of work created during the artist’s part-time residence in Utah. Focusing on nature and painterly landscapes, the work forces the viewer to reconcile between what is real and what is imaginary. The images were taken with a 35mm camera from a single engine Cessna plane only 500 feet off the ground. They are all untouched by any editing tools and are exactly how they appeared from the lens. See them all for yourself before the show closes on April 6.
