Published in conjunction with his amazing recent showing (covered) at Blum & Poe in Los Angeles, Drawings: 1984-2013 is the latest book in a long line of publications from Yoshitomo Nara. Those that attended that exhibition may remember an intriguing chronological survey of the Japanese artist’s drawings in the upstairs gallery which showed the evolution of his imagery over the years. Fans can now experience some of this themselves in this 240 page volume packed with “reproductions of early works never publicly exhibited and omitted from the artist’s catalogue raisonné, as well as an essay by Masue Kato.” Purchase it here.
