The AM team spent couple of hours yesterday browsing the two beachside pavilions of the PULSE art fair in Miami. The 11th edition of the fair was once again a great platform for emerging and established galleries to present their artists’ work to the collectors and art enthusiasts visiting Basel Week Miami. Out of booths from over 80 international galleries, some of the work that stood out for us were the large Jose Parla canvases, Richard Garrison minimalist chart compositions, Christian Rex van Minnen paintings, Nicola Verlato and Jean-Pierre Roy’s oils, Cayce Zavaglia’s embroidered photo realistic portraits, Adam Straus’ screenshot paintings, Emanuel Rodriguez’s collage-like abstractions, Zachari Logan’s meticulous drawings on Mylar, and Anthony Goicolea’s haunting mugshots.
