Releases: Brendan Monroe x Raised by Wolves Capsule Collection

A new capsule collection from Raised by Wolves was recently released featuring the distinctive imagery of Brendan Monroe (interviewed). The hoodies, sweatshirts, and tees were imprinted with the Bay Area-based artist’s topographical linework and is available on a limited basis. Armory Week ’15: Armory Art Fair (Part 2)

After a first look at the Armory Art Show last week with you, we now have a second set of photos to share with you. Later tonight (March 19th), Pedro Matos will be opening a self-titled solo in Miguel Justino Contemporary Art’s project room in Lisbon. Continuing his foray into abstraction, the new works are influenced by the urban landscape – the “ephemeral and decaying, the withered and downtrodden” – something that has been consistently an influence for the Portuguese artist since his early beginnings on the streets. Patrick Martinez x Kobe Bryant for BlackRainbow Magazine

French magazine BlackRainbow recently unveiled the cover of their latest issue featuring Kobe Bryant on the cover posed with the work of Patrick Martinez in the background. The basketball themed release (limited to 100 copies) can be purchased on BlackRainbow‘s Parisian flagship store and online. In it, Kobe can be seen in front of Martinez’s signature neon works as well as a large painting. Streets: Phlegm (London)

Phlegm recently spent several days on a cherry picker in East London, painting a large wall near Old Street with generous help from Red Market and AltLondon. The finished piece is features one of his gigantic characters, cramped inside a typical English house, and includes a cool little nod to Banksy since it’s created on the same wall where the TV Out of the Window piece was painted.
