Starting on October 20th, a major survey exhibition of the work of KAWS will be opening at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. A followup to his 2011 show at The Modern (covered), Where The End Starts will feature “key paintings, sculptures, drawings, toys, and street art interventions” that will give a complete review of the Brooklyn-based artist’s 20 year career. To mark the occasion, a comprehensive publication (hardcover edition with more than 150 color reproductions) will be made available that tracks his “early graffiti years to his fashion and design collaborations and monumental paintings and sculptural works” (preorder info here).
