Tonight (April 27th) in New York, Swoon (interviewed) will be opening a new solo entitled To Accompany Something Invisible at Allouche Gallery. The comprehensive new body of work from the Brooklyn-based artist will feature some beautiful installation boxes, prep sketches and preliminary paper cutouts, as well as works on mylar, wood cuts and found objects. Rounding out the show in the Meatpacking District will be a look at elements of her studio practice on opening night including interactive printing demonstrations and paper cutting.
