Several months after the debut of handmade multiple PORTRAIT no.1 (covered), Adam Neate (interviewed) has just released a new edition in collaboration with Elm Lesters Painting Rooms. Following their philosophy of producing high end products that utilize the variety of techniques and the highest standard of materials to produce a striking edition of classic Neate portraits, Women is another impressive release that meticulously replicates the British artist’s unique aesthetics.
Packed in a clean, black lidded ‘frame’ box, the piece depicts a vibrant composition of five abstract women figures. The dimensional aspect of thismulti-layered piece is accented by using an intense four color process printing, litho printed fluro accents, and some glossy, iridescent, pearlescent, holographic and metallic foils. Combined with complex embossing and debossing on each of the layers of die-cut board, the piece literally changes with the angle it’s observed from, fully translating the quality of Neate’s unmistakable originals.
Limited to an edition of only 18 pieces, each work was hand made in England, and comes individually signed and numbered by the artist, with an accompanying certificate. This ready-to-hang limited edition fine art edition measures 49 x 55 x 8.5cm and is available now through Elm Lesters online store.
