Currently in Los Angeles, at the David Kodansky Gallery, a new show from Jonas Wood is on display entitled Interior and Landscapes. The new selection of 13 large scale paintings are spread over all three of the gallery’s exhibition spaces and features familiar places that he has seen or visited before including the studio he shares with his wife, a golf course, a garden, a bedroom, and other everyday locations. Seen throughout are the familiar verdant greens of his representations of foliage as well as some of the pots and ceramics he has been known for adding to his compositions.
