Returning to work with Wunderkammern after a showing in their Rome location (covered) back in 2014, Aakash Nihalani (interviewed) is opening his latest solo tonight with the gallery’s space in Milan. Entitled Tilt, the new body of work will include a site-specific installation and a series of small-format works created with ink and paint on paper. Playing with geometric shapes and optical illusion-like effects, the American artist continues to refine the skills he acquired while working with just a roll of tape while making art in the streets.
