The latest artist to be commissioned to lend their imagery to high fashion, in this case Fendi, is graffiti artist PREF. The London-based artist and member of the ID crew is known for his word play and three dimensional lettering, oftentimes multilayered with one word laying on top of or inside of other words. This illusory aesthetic transferred extremely well to the new collaboration, in particular to the lettering of Roma Amor, a two word palindrome as well as the name of the new collection. PREF has also lent his design skills to create two different graphic variations of the Fendi logo, as well as sees his familiar bold neon colors used throughout out the Italian luxury fashion house’s new branding and store design.
