Recently hosting their inaugural exhibition (covered) to show off the premier talent they’ve collaborated with, Exhibition A yet again continues it’s primary mission of providing exclusive and affordable art prints from some of contemporary art’s most venerable figures. On the heels of their most recent release from ESPO, this time photographer David LaChapelle is given the floor and has taken the opportunity to showcase a different side of his artistic vision. Using his own photographs and rudimentary materials – corrugated cardboard, oil sticks, ink – LaChapelle has created a set of intriguing collage works, each still targeting the religious iconography at the core of his work yet presented in a wholly different context. Printed on canvas and produced in a timed edition (open for 4 weeks), the prints are offered individually or as a triptych. A unique and cost effective release from an artist who’s work is priced well out of the budget of most collectors.
Check out the individual prints after the jump.
